The Izaak Walton League of America is dedicated to the conservation, preservation and sustainable use of our country’s natural resources.

Our Mission

To conserve, restore, and promote the sustainable use and enjoyment of our natural resources, including soil, air, woods, waters, wildlife and outdoor recreation.

Since 1922, the IWLA has been instrumental in establishing the nation's bedrock environmental laws and policies that protect the nation's woods, waters and wildlife. In addition to national advocacy, we continue to pioneer community-based conservation and citizen science programs locally.
